Dr. Sincoff is a board-certified neurosurgeon with the Brain and Spine Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Sincoff is a highly specialized neurosurgeon gifted in treating disorders of the brain and spine. Utilizing his advanced techniques, Dr. Sincoff applies minimally invasive techniques for both brain and spine surgeries for quick patient recovery.
Dr. Sincoff earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then completed training in both surgery and neurosurgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He served as a clinical instructor of skull base surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University and as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Reed, a Midwest native, graduated from the University of Rochester in New York with degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. He joined the graduate program in Anatomy at Washington University Medical School where he taught medical students while pursuing advanced studies.
He was accepted into medical school with advanced standing, graduating in 1977 from the University of Missouri School of Medicine-Columbia, where he remained for two years of General Surgery Residency.
Invited to join the Orthopedic Surgery Department of prestigious Duke University, he completed his Chief Residency in 1983 while serving as Orthopedic Surgeon and Flight Surgeon in the USAF. Ever since he has practiced in the Kansas City Metro focusing on the spine and upper extremity care.
A champion and teacher of surgical and facility innovations to better patient care, he has built hospitals, and spine surgery programs and completed an MBA from the Olin School of Business of Washington University.
Dr. Swaz Sinha is a board-certified, Johns Hopkins-trained spine surgeon from Southern Illinois. He has consulted for 3 of the top 10 spine companies in the world and travels across the country to teach other surgeons. He performs the most outpatient spine surgeries in the Midwest and offers the experience of 15 years in the field. Dr. Sinha also offers more minimally invasive spine surgery options than the majority of spine surgeons in the country. There are less than 100 spine surgeons in the US who can claim this level of expertise. His impressive training includes:
Dr. Sinha grew up in Carbondale, Illinois. He has enjoyed playing the electric guitar since he was 13 and was in a band in college. Also, he enjoys lifting weights, painting, and watching basketball and football. He enjoys driving cars on a closed track and has just recently taken up golf.
Dr. Andrew Brown is a Missouri native, born and raised in St Louis, MO. He graduated from Parkway West High school and attended the University of Colorado, Boulder earning a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He then attended the University Of Missouri, Columbia where he earned his Medical Doctorate. He returned to Colorado where he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Colorado. Following this, he completed a 2-year fellowship in Sports Medicine and NIH research at the University of Iowa. Dr. Brown also served in the US Air Force as a Flight Surgeon and Orthopedic Surgeon. He has extensive experience in knee and shoulder surgery as well as sports injuries, trauma, and fractures. He is married with 2 children.
Dr. Miller is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon from the Midwest. He has been in private practice since 2004. Dr. Miller attended KU Medical School and did his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Hospital. He currently serves as a team physician for a number of local colleges and has served on the board of directors for the St. Joseph Center for Outpatient Surgery for 18 years. Dr. Miller developed a passion for finding solutions for patient access to orthopedic specialty care after years of experiencing the poor care delivery model in his community. In 2017, he founded HURT!, a mobile application that provides free and immediate access to an orthopedic expert for care navigation.
Dr. Miller’s surgical expertise is in shoulder and knee arthroscopy with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. He is an innovative surgeon who is at the forefront of using modern technology and biological implants to serve his patients.
Dr. Everett J. Wilknson, DO, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializes in the practice of General Orthopedics and advanced training in Sports Medicine. Dr. Wilkinson has over twenty-five years of experience as an orthopedic and general surgeon. He is an expert in joint repair and replacement with total knee Conformis (custom knee), total hip, and rotator cuff repair being among his top procedures.
He graduated with honors from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO.
Dr. Wilkinson completed his residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, in Orthopedic Surgery. After his residency, he completed an internship at Botsford General Hospital.
Dr. Mark Belcher is an anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management. He has been in practice since 1994. Dr. Belcher is from the Washington D.C. area. He earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University, where he played lacrosse and football. He received his medical degree from George Washington University. He did his internship in general surgery at the George Washington Hospital, and his residency training in anesthesia at Georgetown University, which included 6-month fellowships in pain management and high-risk obstetric anesthesia.
As an anesthesiologist, Dr, Belcher has worked in many different hospital settings from Level 1 trauma centers to small rural hospitals where he was the only anesthesia provider. He has served as chief of anesthesia departments at two different hospitals. During his career in private practice, he has continued to provide pain management services in addition to his operating room responsibilities. While working in Alaska he was the sole practitioner running the largest pain clinic in Anchorage providing both inpatient and outpatient pain services.
He is a member of the Missouri State Medical Association, the Missouri Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Agarwal is a double Board-certified Interventional Pain Management physician with the American Board of Anesthesiology- in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
She grew up in California but has lived in Kansas City for many years. She did her Anesthesiology residency at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and her Pain Management fellowship at the prestigious Weill-Cornell program in New York working at NY Presbyterian Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Columbia Hospital.
She specializes in the interventional management of spine-related pain from neck pain down to low back pain as well as performing peripheral nerve injections. She strongly believes in helping patients get through their procedures with comfort and safety!

Dr. Melissa (Missy) Journot, D.P.M is a Fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Foot and Ankle Surgeon. She earned her degree at Des Moines University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA, and completed her residency training at Truman Medical Center Lakewood in Kansas City, MO. She then went on to complete her Fellowship training in sports medicine foot and ankle surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
In fellowship, Dr. Journot specialized in biomechanical problems of the foot and ankle, total ankle replacement, reconstructive surgeries of the foot and ankle, and custom orthotic devices. Dr. Journot specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal foot and ankle injuries with a focus on sports medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, tendon pathology, ligament injuries, trauma and fracture care, joint replacement, and arthritis management.
Dr. Michael Beckman is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician specializing in Interventional Pain Management.
He completed a degree in Business Administration at the University of California and then attended medical school at Saint Louis University. During medical school, he co-founded an incubator to help multidisciplinary teams from the school commercialize their products. He completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at UC Irvine before completing a fellowship in interventional pain management at the Allied Pain and Spine Institute in Silicon Valley.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Beckman focuses on treating the whole person using a multidisciplinary approach that also includes regenerative and complementary medicine. Inspired by his time in Silicon Valley, he is also interested in innovative and cutting-edge treatments such as neuromodulation to help patients address their pain and improve their functionality. He regularly attends workshops and conferences to stay up to date and gain hands-on experience with the latest technology.
I have been in private practice since 1999 and am happy to have served patients at Spine & Joint Centers for the last 2 years. I conduct mental health assessments that focus on aspects of trauma and bereavement/loss as does my approach to intervention. I believe in a collaborative model to treatment and often try to help patients who are at high risk for long-term mental health needs. My assessments address risk and resiliency factors, prognosis, diagnostic concerns, and treatment recommendations and incorporate diagnostic tools that help drive treatment and translation of results into legal and healthcare utilization.
Dr. Berti is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and is board-certified in Neurology and Pain Medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain Management. At Spine and Joint Centers of Missouri, he is focusing on the management of traumatic brain injury and associated conditions including headaches.
